What brings you to the point you are at today?
What keeps you going when you run out of steam?
What is it that shows you that enough is enough?
What do you do, to take care of yourself- when faced with trauma?
Where do you go- when you need to get away?
What do you do with your thoughts when no one seems to understand?
Where do you bury those feelings that are too difficult for you to cope with right away?
What gives you positive energy, and even joy?
When you feel vulnerable, and you want to hide from those around you- what do you do?
Are there parts of yourself that you hide from EVERYONE? Do you think it's right to hide those things forever?
These questions have been on my mind. I'd love to hear what you think, and how YOU answer these questions in your life. Everyone finds energy and faith differently- and it is an incredibly valuable resource to be able to learn from someone else. No matter what the pain or trauma is that you may have experienced- there's always someone before you that has experienced the same thing. None of us are "islands," because there's a reason that you're not the only one. We need to learn from our mistakes and take advantage of the knowledge of others.

What keeps you going when you run out of steam? coca-cola! hehe. inspiration.
What is it that shows you that enough is enough? reaching my limit. feeling ill.
What do you do, to take care of yourself- when faced with trauma? write in a journal, get therapy, ask for help.
Where do you go- when you need to get away? the woods, my office/studio, on a drive, to the bookstore or library.
What do you do with your thoughts when no one seems to understand? make them into art.
Where do you bury those feelings that are too difficult for you to cope with right away? write them down and put them in a "god jar" (releasing and letting the Universe help me out...an idea from "The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron).
What gives you positive energy, and even joy? cats, thunder storms, making art, andrew, making babies laugh, watching funny shows, movies or stand-up, dancing
When you feel vulnerable, and you want to hide from those around you- what do you do? tell it as it is.
Are there parts of yourself that you hide from EVERYONE? Do you think it's right to hide those things forever? i think it's fine to have things that are only for you to know. it just depends on if keeping it inside eats away at you or not.
